It is can be coffee time right now! Last night I made chocolate chip cookies for the church group I run. We sat together and went over the ballot information for the November election. It was informative and quite civil! I had no idea that the Unitarian Universalist Legislative Ministry has a voter’s guide.
Today I’m going out to coffee with my friend Laura. Then I’ll be teaching a few lessons, meeting up with Teh Grimster for hugs, and then going out to see My Soul to Keep. It’ll be a good day. Right now, though, I’m enjoying the gray morning and looking out at the Halloween gravestones that Teh Grimster put in my garden.
Whoa. Lists of produce are always so appealing. I’m shameful; shameful. I have a twelve foot by nine foot patch of earth in my side yard and I’m using it to grow one rosemary plant and two lavender plants.

Gardening at night is best. Reduces chances of heatstroke. Plus that’s what night people do 🙂
Also urban homesteaders might also garden at night! Because they’re both urban and homesteading!
